The longer I live, the more beautiful life becomes. Age is an issue of mind over matter.
Recently I turned the dreaded 50, or what I thought I would dread. Upon reflection, I decided 50 is not bad at all. Looking back on each age milestone, I laughed at how much I had to learn to become the best version of myself, a wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, mentor, and co-worker. It honestly took a village to get through each milestone, with several skinned knees from falling (or failing).
These reflections prompted my desire to start a blog, share life experiences, positivity quotes, lifestyle and travel recommendations and suggestions, and sometimes, tips on dealing with and surviving the lemons thrown your way. I have put it off for many years in fear of ridicule and failure. Then, I turned the big 5-0! A light switch flipped on, and guess what???? I do not have to care what people think of me!! I am happy with who I am and the obstacles I have overcome. I keep things real, like it or not. I rely on faith, knowing God has a plan for each of us. If I can make just one person a day happy, then I am successful!
Soooooo......today I am announcing the start of my Blog: Not A Day Over Fabulous!!! The group/page will share positivity quotes, discussions, and a few exercises (if you know me, not physical but reflective exercises) to set boundaries to become the best version of YOU!
If you know me, I like nice things, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on said things. More than likely, if it is not on sale, I probably won't buy it. I recently became an Amazon Associate and will share links to deals, unique must-haves, and items I think you might love. I am partnering with a few friends to share personalized gift ideas for special occasions. (It's hard to keep up with the trends for your adult kids/loved ones - we want to help) There are so many personalized gift ideas to make others happy that don't break the bank. I cannot wait to share our holiday ideas!!
Remember, I AM 50, so it might take trials and errors to get links posted correctly and to navigate the different social medial sites. Please have patience with me as I navigate through this journey.
Lastly, I want this group to be happy, joyful, and a place to feel empowered. With that said, I will delete any political and negative posts or comments from this group/page.
